Welcome to Manzano Mesa Multigenerational Center!
MMMC is the first center from the Department of Senior Affairs that caters to participants of all ages.
Manzano Mesa opened it's doors in 2002 and offers a variety of programs including, meals, educational, recreational, fitness, and social programs for a diverse community.
I would like to invite you to visit us in person at 501 Elizabeth S.E. Albuquerque, NM to explore the many programs and opportunities that Manzano Mesa has to offer.
I was offered and accepted the position of Manager at
Manzano Mesa Multigenerational Center on September 22. I
worked here previously as the Operations Manager from 2006
to 2010 and while I have been away for awhile (as the
Manager at North Valley), I feel as though in some regards,
I never left. Manzano Mesa was the first Multigenerational
Center that was built in New Mexico and we are all very
proud of the population that we serve here. There are very
few centers that can say they have members from six to 90
years of age. Many years ago, this neighborhood was vacant
and undeveloped. It is now a flourishing community, and
Manzano Mesa is definitley a center people look to to
fulfill their recreational needs in many different ways. We
have many challenges ahead of us, the first being the
infrastructure issues that have arisen over the years. Our
first priority is the roof. We have received several bids
and are in the process of working through details, which
unfortunatley do take time. There are other issues as well
and we will work through them to keep your center in the
best operating condition that we can. The center is 12 years
old, is highly used and we expect that trend will continue.
I am elated to be back and look forward to meeting as many
members as I can. If you have any questions of me at all,
please contact me by e mail firstname.lastname@example.org
or call 275-8731.
